Skilled Support for the Sacred Work of Birth

Serving families planning a homebirth in the Kansas City Metro area.

MATRIA: Holistic Midwifery offers prenatal, birth, and postpartum care that is personal, relationship-based, and grounded in steady clinical judgment. Care is centered on continuity, presence, and thoughtful decision-making, honoring birth as a physiological process while remaining prepared to respond when needed. I tend to be a good fit for families who value connection, open communication, and a more personal, involved approach to care.

Hands-On Support

Hands-on support is used thoughtfully throughout care when it is helpful for comfort, positioning, or the body’s natural adaptation during pregnancy, labor, and recovery. For newborns, simple support may be offered during visits when needed, particularly in cases of feeding challenges, tension, or difficulty settling. These elements are integrated into midwifery care as appropriate, rather than offered as a separate or routine service.
