Skilled Support for the Sacred Work of Birth

Serving families planning a homebirth in the Kansas City Metro area.

MATRIA: Holistic Midwifery offers prenatal, birth, and postpartum care that is personal, relationship-based, and grounded in steady clinical judgment. Care is centered on continuity, presence, and thoughtful decision-making, honoring birth as a physiological process while remaining prepared to respond when needed. I tend to be a good fit for families who value connection, open communication, and a more personal, involved approach to care.

Hands-On Support

Hands-on support, including gentle bodywork and fascial support, is part of how I work. It’s used when helpful for comfort, positioning, or the body’s natural adaptation during pregnancy, labor, and recovery.

For newborns, simple hands-on support may be offered during visits, particularly in cases of feeding challenges, tension, or difficulty settling.

This work is integrated into care as appropriate, rather than offered as a separate or routine service.
